The Junior Lector Ministry provides opportunity for qualified children to take part in the Lector Ministry.
Children in grades 5 through 8 are encouraged and permitted to serve in this important ministry. Training as a Junior Lector allows the child to develop confidence as a public speaker, understand the importance of Scripture readings at liturgies and serve the parish as a minister.
