The ministry of Arimatheans is to attend funerals, witnessing to the life of the deceased parishioner and providing support to the family. Some of our funerals are very small because parishioners have outlived their friends and even some of their family members. The presence of the Arimatheans is a great support to families. Arimatheans attend funerals when they can; there is no attendance requirement.
